The importance of a good cheese plate
We're curently in Chelsea celebreating Canadian Thanksgiving (more on that in a future post) and as with many large meals things are running a little behind. Thankfully my friend Matt is a huge advocate for providing cheese spreads during parties. He turned TWSF onto cheese plates long ago. Think of him as the Johnny Appleseed of cheese. And he is right, a good cheese plate is an elegent way to keep your guest's appetites at bay when you underestimate cooking times, as an added bonus it makes the host look sophisticated. This particular spread includes fontina, spiced goat cheese, cranberry cheese, smoked Wisconsin cheddar, chorizo and peppered salami. So next time you're hosting a dinner party do your guests a favor and give them cheese.
