Spike's Sunnyside with Spike's Village Fries |
When the other blogger and I first started dating, he introduced me to DC's most popular burger joint:
Good Stuff Eatery. Chuck never fails me, and we've been back many times since. Really, this post should have been written a long time ago. (Chuck's note: the draft post was created 9/20/2010)
Good Stuff Eatery is run by DC's very own top chef, Spike Mendelsohn. He's been serving up handcrafted burgers and the best shakes in Capitol Hill since 2008. The food is fresh and incredibly tasty. Our "must orders" include Spike's Sunnyside burger with a side of rosemary fries and toasted marshmallow milkshake. Although it can get crowded, the kitchen keeps a steady pace and and we've never had an issue grabbing a seat upstairs.

If you aren't in the mood for a burger or don't eat meat, Good Stuff Eatery also offers a fresh salads and and a Shroom burger made just for the veggie lovers out there. You could also check out Spike's new joint next door,
We The Pizza. TWSF has never been, but if it's anything like it's sibling restaurant you are in for a treat.
