TWSF loves Doug Benson

Last night TWSF headed out to the Arlington Drafthouse to see Doug Benson be funny. I am a hug fan of the Doug Loves Movies podcast and his marijuana infused humor. The show was opened by Nikki Glaser (I could have listened to Nikki talk about her loose habits all night long) and middled by Graham Elwood (palmstrike!).

The highlight of the night came Doug started his set by reading tweets and calling out people in the audience. His eyes lit up and asked "is @thatwhatshefed here?" We wooted. He continued to read the tweet 'Waiting for @DougBenson to come on stage @cinemadraft !' He said that we had him at the name but lost him with the tweet. I agree with him, it was a little lame.

The other blogger constructed that tweet, and I will take this opportunity to throw her under the bus. We have since instituted a new Twitter policy where any tweet @ a famous person that I like who might read it aloud in public must first receive my approval, in triplicate.

Lame tweet or not, Doug likes the name of our blog, he did a call back to That's What She Fed later in his set during a "that's what she said" joke and said he liked the name after the show when we took a picture.

We should probably get this thing trademarked.
